Demolition Date Set for Old Endicott Inn: New Chapter Begins
The old Endicott Inn, a long-standing landmark on Washington Avenue, has been demolished, marking a significant transformation for the Endicott community.
The project, which commenced on February 15, signaled the end of an era for the two-story structure, formerly known as the Frederick Motor Lodge and later the Inn Towne Motor Lodge.
In its prime, the building served as a popular lodging option for IBM employees visiting Endicott for business or training.
However, in recent years, as the Endicott Inn, it became notorious for attracting frequent police attention due to various issues.
Ramco Development and Holdings acquired the property for $550,000 last month, and the last residents moved out by late December.
The demolition was carried out by LCP Group of Vestal, who also removed an adjacent building that once housed various restaurants and nightclubs.
A state grant awarded last year helped fund the demolition, clearing the way for future construction on the site.
Plans are in place for a new "brand-name hotel," which promises to bring fresh opportunities and revitalization to the area.

LCP offers demolition and site preparation services in New York and Pennsylvania. We have a variety of highly specialized demolition tools including high reach excavators, concrete processors, 120 yard walking floor trailers, scrap processors,
pulverizors, hammers, magnets, sorting attachments and more that allow us to tackle a variety of demolition projects. Our crew is led by owner/operator Larry Pierce, who has taken down thousands of buildings over the last few decades.
We began work in this industry because we consistently encountered environmental challenges in our own construction and demolition projects. Branching into this
industry was a natural growth progression for us. As a former customer of this type of service, we are keenly aware that people do not face these types of projects on a regular basis. We tailor our approach to serve, support and protect our customers. We focus on solutions that align their long term goals with work practices that are safe, quality and compliant.
The division is led by Gary Lasky, who has been a leader in the industry for several decades. Gary has built a team of abatement specialists who are dedicated to safety, compliance, quality and excellence. Gary has a wealth of knowledge of NYS Asbestos regulations and can provide customers with all options available to solve any particular problem they are facing.
We work closely with the US Environmental Protection Agency, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, NYS Department of Labor, PA Department of Environmental Protection and local municipalities to ensure that our projects are completed safely, efficiently and in full regulatory compliance.

Since 2005, the Pierce family has utilized sweat equity, ingenuity, trial and error and perseverance to create a living, breathing, productive, large-scale work of art that many in the local community refer to as “The Farm.”
There are unique and exciting projects made from recycled and repurposed materials sprinkled throughout the property. Some features include a relocated cabin turned AirBnb, a covered bridge, a regulation size chilled hockey rink, a concrete lodge framed with reclaimed beams, smoke houses and animal shelters made from repurposed timbers, roads made from recycled aggregate and more, all built with sustainability and longevity in mind.
